General purpose knife for all fields
The ISZ 412V-T has been developed to be used in any application and environment.
This knife is designed with practicality in mind, ignoring cost.
The name "412" is an intuitive blade size for performance.
Blade thickness 4mm Blade length 124mm
The ISZ 412V has reduced the size of the blade and handle without waste. As a result, the total length is reduced and it fits very compactly.
As a result, the weight of the knife body is less than 6.73oz, making it easy to carry and handle.
Blade
Blade steel is VANAX. It has extremely high corrosion resistance, extremely high wear resistance, and strength, making it the most ideal steel material for this knife.
In the corrosion resistance test, even if it was immersed in a liquid with a seawater salinity of 3.8% for 25 hours, the result was almost no rust.
The grind is convex, and through numerous tests, we have found the ideal edge angle, ensuring a sturdy edge that can withstand hard use such as batoning, which is hard to cause chips, and has an extremely sharp edge.
The blade coating is Cerakote, the toughest coating used in firearms.
The purpose of this coating is to cope with situations such as when it is necessary to reduce the gloss of the blade.
The red line near the tip is a warning color and serves as a line to increase the tension when using the knife.
*If this line is not needed, it can be removed with a solvent such as thinner.
Handle
In order to accommodate all hand sizes, we have designed a satisfying Handle with the help of 5.249ft to 6.234ft human hands.
Although the Handle shape is orthodox, it is a grip that is easy to apply force and does not cause hand fatigue when used for a long time.
The handle is a concealed tang intended for use in cold climates.
*There is an idea that gloves should be worn in cold regions, but in cold regions, gloves may not always be worn depending on the work or situation. It is very dangerous to touch a full tang knife at such time.
Therefore, in sub-zero environments, we strongly recommend concealed knives.
The steel also extends near the end of the handle to withstand hard use like a full tang knife.
Of course batoning can be done without any problems.
The material of the handle is epoxy, lightweight canvas Micarta used as an insulator, and dry carbon on the bottom of the handle. A titanium alloy bolt and a tungsten glass breaker are embedded in the dry carbon on the bottom of the handle. Titanium alloy bolts are responsible for connecting parts for function expansion. Below that, a glass breaker made of tungsten carbide is installed to prepare for emergencies.
*Titanium bolts and tungsten embedded in dry carbon are embedded up to Micarta, so they do not interfere with the blade material. The entire handle may provide some protection against electricity, but has not been tested for dielectric breakdown. Theoretically, the insulation voltage is about 1900V.
・Use the bottom of the handle as a hammer
・During scuba diving, hit the oxygen cylinder with the bottom of the knife to signal your friends
If you need a conspicuous color to find the knife when it is lost, etc., please deal with it by tying a brightly colored paracord or the like to the strap hole of the handle.
It is a versatile knife that can be used for hunting in the forest, bushcraft, scuba diving in the sea, tactical applications, etc., and can be used in any scene.
