It is a monster spec that keeps the sharpness firmly, not to mention that the blade does not chip even if you batoning many times on a hard tree with high strength like hardwood.

Combined with its high strength, it has excellent wear resistance, and although it is made of stainless steel same VANAX, its sharpness is as sharp as carbon steel.
In addition, the HRC hardness can be increased up to 65 by quenching, and overwhelming wear resistance can be obtained.

The high corrosion resistance that was not possible with conventional high-toughness, high-strength steel has become a corrosion resistance performance higher than that of M390, and its activity can be expanded not only in forests and mountains, but also in the sea.

CPM Magna Cut is the highest level ultra-high performance knife steel. 
CPM MagnaCut knives manufactured by ISZ KNIVES have HRC hardness of 60~62.
60 HRC provides maximum toughness and a very chip resistant blade.
62 HRC is also very resistant to deformation, making it suitable for large size knives.
